Anybody out there?

For reasons that I can’t currently go into, I’d love to know if anyone who reads this blog lives in Antigonish, Nova Scotia or the surrounding area. Or knows someone who lives there, especially if he/she is a knitter. Or knows of any knitting groups in the area. Or anything.

Just asking.

Oh, and thank you, everyone, for all the compliments on the various FOs. I do appreciate them. I also apologise for potentially leading others to disappointment — apparently the Adagio Teas rewards page is telling people that they need to have a US address to get their free stuff. Which is a little surprising, since I’m fairly certain Toronto’s still in Canada (though you never know…). Still, if you tried to get some stuff, and can’t, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to raise false hopes!

Greetings. I’m knitting in Seabright, Nova Scotia, half an hour from Halifax (or a little less, if you speed). Are you looking for yarn in Antigonish? Fire away with questions about Nova Scotia. Great blog - I was very moved by the pictures of the sweaters you made for your parents.
Best fishes,
Pam

I just found your blog via “Needlecase Crafting Blogs”. Great stuff. Love your new sweater.

No worries! I think we should band together with some American knitters and split the profits - or maybe you could forward us all the e-mail…lol. Just kidding! :D I, sadly, am not from Antigonish, although I have been there. Hopefully next year though I will be near there doing the last year of my BEd.

Hmmm…now considering STFX is in Antigonish I can leap to all kinds of interesting conclusions based on your quest for information about the town of Antigonish.
Halifax is about 200 km or 2.5 hours driving time away from Antigonish.
You will be a bit too far away to get to http://www.fleeceartist.com/ http://www.gaspereauvalleyfibres.ca/index.htm or http://www.tradewindknits.com/ however you will be a bit closer to Baadeck Yarns in the town of Baddeck across the causeway on Cape Breton Island.Check with the Yarn Harlot she was at Baadeck Yarns last summer)
