One last look

Before we left Toronto I took a few pictures of the empty rooms, just to prove that we really had done what some people (including me!) thought was impossible – pack (almost) all the stuff in the house. So, just for the record, here’s the evidence.

For the few days in which all we had access to was what we could pack into one small car, I felt remarkably free and easy – unencumbered by stuff. Of course, that also meant going without things like a tea kettle and chairs… there are reasons we own all that stuff!

PS: Thanks for all the good wishes and welcomes! I’ll reply to everyone soon, but the continuing absence of my own computer makes emailing remarkably irritating.
