My dad sent me some pictures of my sister wearing her Bad Penny for the first time, on Easter weekend. It fits perfectly, and she likes it very much. Yay! I think it looks great on her:

Perfect colour for Easter!
I’m glad they had such lovely weather in Ottawa over the weekend, where she was (20 degrees and sunny, apparently!). Here it’s been a howling gale and pouring rain for 4 days and counting — it’s just barely above zero, and truly unpleasant. But I suppose this is an inevitable part of spring, too — I just hope we end up with some nice May flowers!
Posted by Aven at April 19, 2006 04:31 PMIt looks lovely Aven! It really suits her
Posted by: Dani at April 19, 2006 05:30 PMBravo! That’s just gorgeous on her!
Posted by: Sachi at April 19, 2006 06:36 PMLooks great! I really like the photo too—I’m becoming much more comfortable with asymmetry as I age.
Posted by: Anita at April 19, 2006 08:22 PMWOW! Aven your sister looks so much like you. At first I thought you looked a tad different but now I know why. LOL! ;) Hope the sun gets to you soon.
Posted by: ~Jo~ at April 19, 2006 08:45 PMThat’s celcius, I hope.
She looks gorgeous in that sweater! The color is perfect for her. Nice job, Aven!
Posted by: Carrie K at April 20, 2006 12:03 AMIt look lovely on her, the colour is great.
We had snow yesterday. Today it is damp & cold 4°C. Don’t worry though it will go from this right into summer in a few weeks.
Wow! It looks great. Nice knitting.
Hope the weather improves soon. I won’t share how things are blooming in TO.
Posted by: Steph at April 20, 2006 11:21 AMBad Penny looks great on your sister Aven :) I love the colour. I’m making a wee blanket for my cat Morgan in that colour. He loves to cuddle into a blanket at the top of the stairs and look down at everybody ;) I heard the maritimes were getting a lot of rain and wind; I think your weather is on it’s way to Toronto..maybe and hopefully you’ll get our lovely spring sunshine :)
